ELITE VISION is committed to providing the highest quality vision care, ocular disease management and the treatment of eye conditions associated with systemic pathology. We feature the most advanced and innovative optical products to best serve our patients. Our practice is equipped with the latest medical technology. Our office was built with green building products and features a 32.7kW PV system that is producing more than twice the energy we are using. It is our goal to provide our patients an exceptional experience in the most environmentally responsible manner possible.

ELITE VISION is proud to be one of the most technologically advanced eye clinics in Colorado. Our practice is completely electronic, with all your medical records electronically produced, encrypted, and stored to protect your privacy. Our state of the art equipment is fully integrated into your medical record to ensure the highest level of care and to facilitate the comparison of health changes from year to year. We are only one of the few practices in Colorado to utilize the Reichert VRx refraction system which results in the most accurate determination of your glasses prescription and enables us to prescribe digital, high-definition lenses that optimize your vision.
OPTICAL
ELITE VISION has an optical lab and utilizes advanced lens materials to provide the best lenses and lens treatments to our patients in a timely manner. There has been significant innovation in the development of progressive or no-line bofocal lenses. We have partnered with the most technologically advanced labs in the US to provide our patients with progressive lenses that provide more comfortable vision, improved adaptation, and significantly less peripheral distortion than progressive lenses produced only a few years ago. The new digitally produced progressive lenses are manufacturered with 1/100 of a diopter, which results in incredible clarity at all distances. We also offer task specific progressive lenses designed specifically for computer work and other hobbies with unique vision demands.
Dr. LeRoy Popowski, M.S., O.D., M.B.A
Dr. LeRoy Popowski completed his BA at St. John's University (MN) and earned his MS degree in physiology at the University of Iowa prior to graduating from Pacific University (OR) with a Doctor of Optometry degree. While training at Pacific University, he completed thesis studies in advanced contact lens design and worked with Nike in the development of sports vision eyewear. He completed extensive training in refractive surgery, ocular disease management and earned his Therapeutic & Diagnostic Licensure. Dr. LeRoy Popowski's extensive training enabled him to obtain hospital privileges, where he served as a consultant for disease management, caring for patients with primary ocular disease and secondary eye pathology related to systemic disease. Dr. Popowski earned his MBA with an emphasis in finance at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
Dr. LeRoy Popowski served in the US Army as an optometrist for three years, including a one year deployment to Iraq, where he practiced hospital based eye care. He specializes in the treatment of dry eye, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Popowski is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Colorado Optometric Association, and the Southern Colorado Optometric Society.
Dr. LeRoy Popowski is an early adopter of the latest technological advances in eye care and enjoys implementing the most advanced instrumentation into patient care to provide his patients the best vision and ocular health. He is dedicated to ensuring his patients receive the best care available and are informed of the latest ophthalmic products to prevent loss of vision due to pathology, and optimization of vision through advanced ophthalmic and therapeutic products.
He is married to Dr. Felicia Popowski, who recently joined ELITE VISION. He enjoys cycling and has competed as a professional duathlete for the US National Team in several World Cup Events and World Championships. Dr. LeRoy Popowski is a three-time Colorado State Hillclimb Champion in the Pro/Open category and was the 2016 US Cycling Pro/Open Hill Climb National Champion. He enjoys playing sports with their active boys.
Dr. Felicia Taylor Popowski, O.D.

Dr. Felicia Popowski grew up in Maryland and began her undergraduate studies at The Pennsylvania State University. She received her BS degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. During her undergraduate years, she worked in a large ophthalmology practice in many roles fostering her interest in a career in optometry.
In 2005, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Oregon where she was selected as the Outstanding Clinician for the Class of 2005 and the 2004-2005 Optometric Physicians of Washington Student of the Year. She completed internships at Barnet Dulaney Perkins in Phoenix, AZ, All About Eyes in Portland, OR and Best In Sight in Denver, CO.

For the first 17 years of her career, she was employed at Skyline Vision Clinic & Laser Center, providing pre- and post-op surgical care, treating ocular disease, managing glaucoma patients and fitting specialty contact lenses. She then served as the Refractive Surgery Optometrist for Evans Hospital in the Warrior Refractive Eye Surgery program. Now she is excited to join ELITE VISION welcoming all new patients!

She is a licensed Colorado optometrist as well as a therapeutic, diagnostic and injection certified practitioner. She has served on the Children’s Vision Committee for the state of Colorado as the state liaison for the InfantSee program and as the treasurer of the Southern Colorado Optometric Society. Dr. Felicia Popowski is an active member of the Southern Colorado Optometric Society, Colorado Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. She enjoys presenting lectures to colleagues and ophthalmic technicians at conferences.

Outside of the office she enjoys singing, fitness activities, and is a certified yoga instructor.
